SB 728 (2021-2022) – Purchase of Density Bonus Units by Nonprofits

*Chaptered 9/28/2021*

This bill amends State Density Bonus law to ensure qualified nonprofit housing corporations are able to purchase for-sale units in an approved housing development project. This will preserve continued affordability of units intended for ownership by individuals or families of a certain income level.

 

SB 1007 (2017-2018) – Sales and Use Taxes: Exemption: Military and Veteran Medical Facilities 

*Chaptered 9/26/2018*

This bill exempts from the state and local sales and use tax specified building materials and supplies used by a qualified nonprofit organization to construct a facility used to care for military veterans.  

 

SB 63 (2019-2020) – Personal Income Tax Law: Exclusion: Student Loan Debt Forgiveness

*Chaptered 10/2/2019*

This bill excludes from gross income loan amounts discharged from a college when the borrower is unable to complete a program of study because a school closes or does something wrong.

 

SB 639 (2017-2018) – Property Taxation: Assessment: Electric Generation Facilities 

*Chaptered 9/1/2017*

This bill clarifies that local assessment applies to specified renewable energy projects.
